A will that speaks clearly for you

A will is a set of clear instructions for what happens to your belongings and who cares for your children. It is often the first document families put in place.

The basics

What a will can do

At its heart, a will is a set of instructions. It lets you decide who receives your property and name someone you trust to carry out your wishes. If you have young children, it is also where you name the people you would want to raise them.

You do not need a large estate for a will to matter. For most families the value of a will is a settled mind, knowing that your intentions are written down and easy to follow.

A will typically covers:

  • Who inherits your belongings, and in what shares
  • Guardians for minor children
  • A personal representative to carry out your wishes
  • Specific gifts to people or organizations you choose

Every family is different. We tailor each will to your situation and explain each choice in plain language.
